These are the Necrons that i painted for the NZGT. I fielded them at Call to Arms, our local Rogue Trader and managed to win the RTT. At the NZGT i scored 1st equal in Gameplay and also got first equal overall with my friends Deathwing. Unfortunately for me he won on the countback of sportsmanship. All the models are painted with vallejo red and black and a combination of codex gray/fortress grey. the symbols are in vallejo turquoise and the eyes are fluro green. All the models have red rods from Plastruct instead of the GW green ones. The bases are done in sand/gravel painted brown, then 'snow' and then some lichen like green flock.

My Necron Lord on Destroyer. The model is made from the plastic
destroyer with the new metal lord on the torso. The lord had his warscythe arm
carved out and replaced with the staff of light arm from the destroyer lord.
The top of the staff of light was replaced with a warscythe head and the staff
of light head was placed at the bottom, giving him a massive warscythe. I added
Tombspyder legs to his exhaust vents to make him look bigger, and also cut the
front ones to bend and straighten them. All the symbols were handpainted on
(and some of that shows :) )

7 Immortals. They have symbols on their backs and also symbols on the gun bladeand hands.

Four units warriors, 2 of 12 and 2 of 10. There is a shot of a whole unit and 4 shots of one model from each unit, with markings on the gun and shoulder blades.

3 Wraiths, i decided i did not like the other hand (the club one) so i cut it off and replaced it with a flayed ones claw. Each of the models has the same symbols on the shoulder blades and individual ones on the bottom of their backs. The claws were painted blu to give them a power look.

5 Destroyers, no serious conversions just a few arm adjustments to make their posing look better.

Some scarabs, i only use them with tomb spyder so i painted their symbols to match him. They have fluro green eyes to make them stand out.

Tomb Spyder. I painted the eyes as gems and placed a few scarabs on his base to make him mesh with the scarab bases. The claws were done with a blue power feel to make them stand out more on a what was a bit duotone.

The Monolith. I only brought the highlights up a bit to make it look more forboding and dark. After a lot of hassle i managed to make a red version of the crystal and the front and back doors. The back plate is not glued on as i was wiring it up to make the guns, door and crystal glow. Unfortunately i have over stretched my ability and so gave up, all the leds are still inside waiting for someone who is good at this stuff :)

This is the case i made for them, the bigger figures are in a large foam tray and stabnd in individual compartments for safety. The top tray is for the warriors as shown. If someone wanted to glue the lids of the top tray to another level of foam they could, i am just lazy. The models do not come with the case, just the trays, but the trays fit into a GW case easily.
