Pre Heresy World Eaters

i've been working on my PH World eaters for a while now, and have used lots of ideas from others as inspiration. for some reason i decided to start on my bikes first, becuase they were a pig to do, and i have not finalised the actual look of my army yet, so hopefully won;t have to change anything.

i wanted them to look like the pics from the art books, and more like a flying brick of violence than the sleek bikes of other chapters, and they will be a good counterpoint to my friends PH emperors children bikes which are based on the ravenwing one.

i've not added little detail bits like skulls etc yet, as i want to see how the army comes together, and i am yet to clean up anything shown up by the undercoat, mostly smoothing out some of the greenstuff.

the rear exhausts have some stuff stuck in them, that will be hidden when i add exhaust fumes to them.

i got the XII from a set of clock stickers, still can;t find any smaller for shoulder pads.

you can also see some WE shoulder pads i have made.

the bases are just temporary, i am working on some proper bases for them, but these will do for now.

Guy 1

Ok biker number 1, the flamer guy. i used a templar pistol arm as i thought it would be good if the weapons were stuck to them so they could not drop them.

i have used a little of the marine bike, just the engine and seat area really.

the riders legs have been altered to be in more of a crouching pose, to make it more like they are leaning forward into action rather than leaning back in a relaxed pose.

i have used the gunner arms for the handle bars to make it look different to a normal bike.

I used the chaos vehicle techmarine back so that i did not have to use the backpack, and also added some cabling to link him back to the bike.

Guy 2

heres the normal guy with no upgrades.

you can see on the side of the guns that there is the imprint of an ejection port. i did not like it so cut it off and am undecided as to whether i should add some more.

also considering putting some ammo links below the guns but don;t have enough yet.

Guy 3

number 3 the melta gunner

nothign much different to the others, except i have converted a templar power axe for his weapon.

Guy 4

last guy

the champion. he has a power axe i got by cutting it off one of the new chaos termies and putting it on a ravenwing powersword arm.

the helmet is a converted chaos marine champion arm, and he has a different back piece, where the cable from his axe goes into his back and he has different cables as well.

you can;t see it but he has a special World eater chestplate, but you will see that on future units.
